1st day:

Arrival in Naples airport in the morning. To Sorrento In the afternoon you can discover the picturesque Amalfitana coast driving along the coast, visiting its enchanting "pearls" such as Positano, Amalfi , Maiori and Minori. Diner and overnight.

2nd day:
In the morning, guided visit to Pompeii, discovering daily life of the ancient Romans with its picturesque and moving details such as the street of Abundance or the big Forum with its markets and temples. Visit the Villa of Mysteries with its sumptuous frescos showing complex initiation rites and the Villa Oplontis, the residence of Poppea and see its well-preserved paintings. Lunch on your own. Late afternoon walking tour of historic Naples. Return at Hotel. Diner and overnight.

3rd day:
After breakfast, departure to Florence. On route, stop in Assisi and guided visit of the city of St. Francis. Lunch on your own or possibility to have lunch in one of our wonderful monastery-hotel,located in the city centre, just along the well famous "St. Francis' Brick Road" (OPTIONAL).Continuation to Florence, built on the Arno's banks, in a harmonious settings of hills full of houses and villas. The main city of Tuscany has a universal reputation of wonderful richness and high quality of monuments and art treasures. Arrival at the hotel and diner and overnight.

4th day:
In the morning, half day guided visit to Florence. Which is considered the
"Queen of Renaissance" and you will have the opportunity to see its world wide
famous art treasure. Visit the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria reaching the
picturesque Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) crossing the Arno river .Afternoon at leisure.
In the evening, you will have a wonderful typical diner in an enchanting restaurant
located at the foot of the Certosa of Florence. You will taste genuine Italian cuisine
prepared according the ancient monk's way in a original monk's style, tasting at the
end the famous Cantucci con vin santo, typical Tuscan biscuit with local liquor.
After dinner, motor coach will bring you to Michelangelo Square for an outstanding
view over the city of Florence. Overnight at the hotel

5th day:
Half day excursion to Siena, the town with the best quality in life. This is the town where any single "stone" has remained unchanged over the centuries, the atmosphere is unique for everything bear witness to ancient past which is still alive
in the celebrations for "Palio" taking place every year with renewed enthusiasm.
Half day guided visit of the city. Then visit of Montalcino, like an island in the heart
of Tuscany,it offers to those who ascend from the valleys surrounding it the feeling of
a gradual conquest, the sense of arriving in a snug harbour. Certainly the best image
of Montalcino is revealed primarily by its wine, Brunello, the most precious gift of a land that is at the same time hard and generous. Wine tasting of the famous Brunello wine in an exclusive wine cellar of the XIV Century open only for you. Continuation to Rome. Arrival late afternoon transfer at the hotel. Diner and overnight.

6th day:
After breakfast. Full day guided tour of the Italian Capital City, Rome. In the morning guided visit to Colosseum (exterior), Roman Forum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Trevi Fountain. Lunch on your own.In the afternoon, our art historian guide will drive you in a wonderful stroll throughout Monumental Rome admiring the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Navona Square, the Spanish Steps. After this magnificent tour, you will have the possibility to enjoy an unforgettable experience: a cocktail on the exclusive terrace on the Bernini colonnade, facing Pope's apartments and St. Peter's Dome. Before reaching this magnificent place, you will see other importants monuments like St. Angel's Castle, built by Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his successors, it was later transformed into a fortress and then into a prison. in front of you, St. Peter's square . Diner and overnight at hotel.

7th day:
In the morning visit : the Vatican Museums and St Peter's Basilica. In the afternoon, time at leisure for shopping. In the evening, you can greet Italy enjoying a wonderful Farewell Diner in one of the most typical restaurant of Rome. Overnight in the hotel

8th day:
After breakfast ; free time for the last visits and then transfer to the airport in time
for the departure of your flight back home. End of our services

1 st day - Napoli :
at the arrival assistance and according to the time sightseeing of Naples and transfer to the hotel .Dinner and overnight

2 nd day - Monte Somma/Vesuvio
After breakfast ,departure to visit the Vesuvio volcano which the volcanologists call Monte Somma Vulcano complex, because the eruption dated 79 A.C. destroyed the mount Somma and created the new crater. The volcano, that dominates the Gulf of Naples, in 79 A.C. caused the destruction of Pompei and Ercolano. Visit of the "Osservatorio Vesuviano" founded in 1841 by Ferdinando II, and the Valle Dell'Inferno with a lunar environment. Dinner and overnight in the hotel

3 rd day - Campi Flegrei/Solfatara
Breakfast in the hotel . Excursion to the Campi Flegrei area which is characterized from 19 crates distributed in an area of 64 square kilometres, some of them covered by water. In 1538 a big eruption created the Monte Nuovo. In 1983 -84 many other eruptions took place. The Volcano Solfatara is near Pozzuoli and it offers many smoke-holes and sismic tremblings. In the central area many water vapours and natural gases are currently. The whiteness of the ground is contrasting with the green of the Mediterranean bush. Close to the old Osservatorio Vulcanologico, it is possible to see the sulphur deposits and the heather and myrtle plants.In the afternoon it is possible to make a facultative visit to Pompe to see the rest of the 79 A.C.eruption

4 th day - Napoli/Catania
After breakfast departure to Catania by motorway with some stops on the way. Free lunch . At the arrival Visit of the city, famous for the musician Vincenzo Bellini, the Cathedral, the Palazzo Biscari, the most fascinating palace of Catania and the Duomo square, famous for the elephant fountain which is the symbol of the city. transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

5 th day - Etna /Alcantara Cave
After breakfast.Departure for visiting Europe's highest active volcano with 40 kms of diameter and 3.350 meters of height above the sea level. From 693 B.C. the activity of the volcano never ended. The volcano is full of craters but the Valle del Bove is a big melting-pot.
First stop at Rifugio Sapienza at 1900 meters of altitude and by jeep and alpine guide up to the 3.000 meters to see the new Crater. In the afternoon visit of the Alcantara Cave not far from Taormina-Giardini Naxos. It is a natural monument of basalt rock created by the eruption of the Volcano Monte Moio around the year 2.400 B.C. The lava invaded the valley of Alcantara river. Due to a telluric settling a longitudinal crack opened in the lava assuming the appearance of a cave. Later the waters of the Alcantara river flowed under the fissure and formed the Alcantara Cave. dinner and overnight in the hotel

6 th day - Lipari/Vulcano
After breakfast departure for Milazzo, where you can catch the ferry-boat to Lipari, the biggest of the Eolian islands of volcanic origin, with the Monte Chierica at 603 metres of altitude. Visit the important Archaeological Museum with a volcanic section too.Free time for lunch . In the afternoon transfer to Vulcano Island by ferry-boat ; this island has been choosen from Omero as the God of Fire and for this reason all volcanoes have the name volcano all over the world. The Gran Cratere ( Monte Lentia) at 380 meters altitude is still alive. Back by ferry-boat to Lipari for dinner and overnight in the hotel.

7 th day - Stromboli/Catania
After breakfast always by boat departure for the visit of the most restless volcano of the Eolian Islands: Stromboli. It's possible to visit the volcano only up to 400 meters altitude with an alpine guide. By ferry- boat to Milazzo. Accommodation in hotel nearby for dinner and overnight.

8 th day - Milazzo -Breakfast in the hotel and departure by coach to Naples by motorway at the arrival in Naples transfer to the airport or station for the journey back home. End of our services .
